Solana Beach

Solana Beach is a small coastal (as the name would imply) city in North San Diego County. In addition to the Pacific Ocean to its west, the city is neighbored by Cardiff-by-the-Sea (north), Rancho Santa Fe (east), and Del Mar (south). The city of San Diego is a mere 20 minutes away.

The Eden Gardens region, also known as La Colonia (Spanish for “The Colony”), is an older residential area that was formed by farmers in the 1920s. This community is uniquely different from the rest of the city, but ongoing efforts to make improvements to Eden Gardens are part of a city master plan.

With far more sunny days and fewer rainy days than the U.S. average, Solana Beach has the typically moderate climate of southern California that makes for a great lifestyle. Surfing, golfing, and hiking are a few of the many outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings.

The well-to-do community of Solana Beach boasts a highly-rated school district and is a great place to raise a family. Residents enjoy the feel of a small town with the urban benefits like great business opportunities and transportation options (Amtrak and the North County Transit District system). Charming attractions like a farmers' market, boardwalk, racetrack, beaches, and the Cedros Avenue Design District make everyday living feel like an everyday vacation.
